2. Unplug the machine harness from the bill acceptor logic board.

3. Remove the strain relief retaining screw and slide the logic board out of the logic board cover.

4. Unplug the connectors from the 407383 logic board one at a time and plug them into the 407982-7 "RLA" logic board. Only remove one connector at a time to avoid getting the connectors mixed-up.

Note: The white and red wire harness plugs into the very end connector.

5. Once the wires are all connected to the RLA logic board assembly, snap the RLA retaining boot over the RLA chip assembly.

6. Set the 8 option switches on the RLA logic board the same as the 407383 logic board. Discard the 407383 logic board.

7. Slide the PCB Insert (CA#922849) into the logic board cover, then slide the RLA logic board into the logic board cover.

8. Install the strain relief and screw removed in step 3.

9. Apply power to the bill acceptor.

10. Insert one sheet of Coinco tuning script (CA#921623) into the dollar bill acceptor. The tuning script will be pulled in (like a dollar bill), then rejected.

Note: You get one chance to calibrate the unit when power is first applied. If something goes wrong, the bill acceptor will have to be calibrated at your nearest Coinco branch office.
